• The quilt top must be pressed and free of decoration such as button or beads
• All loose threads must be trimmed
• Quilt top must be squared up
• Backing must be sized to fit your quilt. Provide at least 5 inches of batting and backing larger than your quilt top on all four sides
• Make sure your seams (if any) run perpendicular the top of the quilt (side to side not down)
• Low loft batting is recommended for quilting. Batting must be 100% cotton or 80/20
cotton/polyester
• Backing needs to be at least 100% cotton. Bed sheets are not a good choice for backings

Please remember that a pressed, squared flat quilt top is the perfect area for quilting. Any crooked or puckered quilt top with unsewn seams could result in a poor finished product.

Choose from a variety of over 50 edge-to-edge quilting patterns on a Gammill Statler Stitcher. If you don’t see a pattern you like just call me as I have hundreds more. If you do not want to provide batting and backing, I have these items available at a reasonable cost. Price does not include binding. You may choose a thread color, or I will coordinate to match the color of your quilt top. Complete the order form and mail or email to me.
